Surah Al-Baqarah

It has been narrated by Abu Hureira (may Allah be pleased with him) who said that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

“Do not turn your houses into cemeteries, because the Shaytaan flee from the house in which Surah Al-Baqarah is recited. (Saheeh Al-Jaami 'nr 7227)

The scholar and muhaddith Shaych Al-Mubarakapuri says o
Far from these words from the Prophet (peace be upon him) that we have just quoted:

"So it is like a place where no dhikr (the remembrance of ALLAH) and obedience takes place, and so it becomes a place where the dead are (like a grave) ... (Tuhfat Al-Uhudhi)

This hadith shows what power and wonder Allah has placed in
Surah al-Baqarah.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) means by saying, "Do not turn your houses into cemeteries," recite Koran, and make voluntary prayers, because no cyan may be recited at cemeteries and therefore there are many jinn at cemeteries and we should not do the innovation that happens a lot today such as when someone dies and is buried, then Koraan is recited!

And it has been reported by ibn Mas'ood (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

“There is a Sanaama (highest / best) for everything, and when the Shaytaan hears that there is Surah Al-Baqarah recited, he flees from the house in which Surah Al-Baqarah recited. ”(Silsilat Saheeha Shaych Albaani nr 588)

And the great imam Al-Manawi says about this hadith ... Al-Sanaama,
or the highest / best in this case is Surah Al-Baqarah† (Fajad Al-Kadeer)

It is narrated by ibn Sa'eed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said:

“The Surah which talks about the Cow (Al-Baqarah) is the temple of the Koran, learn it, for the one who learns it will be sufficient (as protection), and the one who fails (to learn it) will regret it, and the fake (wizards) can't stand it . ”(Muslim, Kitaab Al-Musaafeer No. 252)."

Al-Manaawi (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

“Recite Surah Al-Baqarah”In your houses or in the places where you live: House or refuge or where you seek shelter etc, and don't let it be like a grave or the graves that don't have dhirk and recitation (from the Koran), but make sure that you have outsourced part of obedience (acts of worship) (in your homes).
(Faidh Al-Qadeer 2 / 66)
